Mar1 Sport Fishing Travel tips for going on a fishing trip

If you are going on a fishing trip along with friends or through an organized tour in Costa Rica, it is very important to follow certain fishing tips. Below mentioned are the important fishing tips that will be quite handy to you to help plan your next  Costa Rica Fishing Holiday.

fish-Quepos
Search – Before going to fishing in a particular area, it is very important to search regarding the area on the internet. You should not completely rely on the marketing material that is provided by the fishing tour company. Try to extract the recent information about that particular area and see whether it is the best time to go in there or not.

Cost – Some of the best fishing operation always get repeat business from a great reputation and their ability to catch fish. Sometimes there are cases where the fishing Charters charge more to the new clients as it becomes a supply and demand issue. It is advisable to be alert and not let them overcharge you. If you are going for fishing with friends then you should hire boat wisely. Refrain from hiring large boat for small group of people and ask questions as to what size of charter boat is required for your group of fishermen.

Weather – After selecting your fishing area make sure you do adequate research on weather of that area. You don’t want to be blown by a hurricane or get drenched in torrential rains while fishing. So, proper research of the weather is very vital for good fishing. Fortunately in Quepos we don't have this problem in the Quepos, Costa Rica area, however the Guanacaste Area does get windy certain times of the year.
