The Mar 1 is a 31' Bertram that is equipped to catch the Fish of your Dreams on your Quepos Fishing Charter. Bertram's are world renowned for their speed and fish catching ability. It is equipped with twin Caterpillar 350hp engines to get you to the fishing grounds fast (cruises at 26knots/31 mph) to get you to the fishing grounds fast! This means you get more actual fishing time in on your Quepos Sailfishing Charter. We run a Garmin Gps Si-Tex Sounder and a Icom VHF for electronics. It is also equipped with a Beautiful Fighting Chair, Tuna Tubes as well as a bi-lingual Captain and Mate.
 Captain Oscar Corrales is a third generation Captain with over 20 years experience that he will use to put you on the fish and make your Quepos Fishing Charter a great one. The fishing gear is all Penn International and Okuma with a large variety of teasers and lures. All Quepos Sailfishing Charters include snacks, fresh fruit, and beverages such as water, Coke, Sprite, Ice T and Beer. Full Day Quepos Fishing Charters also include lunch.  The Mirce Azul Now if I had to pick a Quepos Sailfishing Charter Boat on a budget this would be the one! The Captain Jonathan Salas and Mate Luis Miranda are both from the area and to say they know there stuff is an understatement. I have fished with these guys on a number of occasions and have always had a great time they are an amazing pair. The boat is a 25’ center console with a 140hp outboard 4 stroke engine. They have Shimano and Penn International rods and reels. For electronics they have a Sounder/Fish finder, gps, radar and a marine VHF Radio. Dollar for Dollar this is the best budget option in my opinion of the entire Quepos Fleet.
